The much awaited Moto X launch, the company’s flagship phone is out in the Indian markets. It was launched successfully in August last year in US. The Indian markets were anticipating it to be launched by end of 2013 which however was delayed. But finally it is here and Motorola has once again chosen Flipkart to launch it for its Indian customers. It is priced at INR 23,999/-, but its teak and walnut variant are cost INR 25,999/-.
This smartphone is expected to do well in Indian market despite its late launch. It has several innovative features like gesture-control and No-Touch Control. It uses voice-command to for mostly all functions like text message, email, set notifications, unlock the phone and several others. As they have advertised, just say the magic words “You just have to say: “OK Google Now” and give it a command. You can set an alarm, get directions, find out the weather. Not sure what to ask? Say “OK Google Now, help me” and your Moto X will even have an answer for that.
Another amazing feature of this Moto is “Twist your wrist twice and it turns to your camera”. Battery life is something it boasts about. Even though Moto X is always ready with a quick response, it’s using a super low-power natural language processor. And, thanks to Crystal Talk, it understands you even in a crowded room or noisy environment.
It is loaded with Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. When launched in US it became a quick hit because of its customizable design feature. Customers were allowed to choose their front and back cover, emboss your name as signature, design boot logo and many such enhancements and accessories. The 10 megapixel rear camera just enhances its features. The Clear Pixel camera sensor with LED flash gives good and stable images.
Moto X is available in seven variants for the Indian markets on flipkart.com. The pre-order variants are expected to be available by 2nd week of April 2014.
