Xiaomi, the Chinese Apple planned to launch its smartphone Mi3 in India and the news spread like fire in the market. The company smartly used the online retailer Flipkart.com to sell its product in the country.

The sale began with preregistration and become a hit. If the numbers have to be believed the first lot of Xiaomi Mi3 sold out in 39 minutes. When market thought this was a record time sale. The next round of Xiaomi Mi3 sale was 5 seconds and the third and forth of mere 2 seconds.

The snapdragon 800 processor smartphone is in a direct competition with its counterparts like the Galaxy S4 and Nexus 5. Xiaomi mi3 takes them out in pricing which is just half when compared. Thus bringing crowds to Flipkart to book this power packed phone.

Xiaomi Mi3 entry into the Indian market has caused a realignment of prices and places. There is already a war for the first spot. On one side where surveys are pointing at drop in sales for Samsung, the company maintains it still retains the top spot which had been claimed by Micromax.

There are limited period price cuts by Motorola to push its Moto G sales. The 8 Gb Moto G variant will now cost INR 10,499/- and the 16 Gb will cost INR 11,999/-. Flipkart is also the online retail partner for Moto G. The limited stock sell is available between 12th and 18th August 2014. An additional cashback of 10% is on offer for SBI credit card and debit card customers.

Karbonn is now offering its Titanium Octane (1.7 GHz Octa-core) and Titanium Octane Plus (1.7 GHz Cortex-A7 octa core) smartphones at a special offer price of INR11,990/- and INR13,990/- respectively. These smartphones score in their aesthetics. This offer is available on Snapdeal.
