Whatsapp banning users for violating TOS

Whatsapp has put a 24 hour ban on users using third party applications to user their services. They have mentioned it as violation of TOS (Terms of Service). Whatsapp in its FAQ (Fequently Asked Questions) have pointed out that they have no relation with the third party application Whatsapp Plus.

Thus going further they have denied any responsibility of the whatsapp plus source code. So to avoid any further complications associated with users data integrity and personal information, the Messenger Giant has decided to discourage its users from using any such third party applications.

Whatsapp plus provided users more options and thus many users switched over to the app. But after the strict stand taken by Whatsapp of banning users for 24 hours, its users will be compelled to move back to the official version to use the services.

The move should have taken place way back. The company could not detect leaks putting users privacy at risk. Though company has mentioned that they won’t be responsible for any user using any third party application to use their service.

So forget about goodies of third party apps, Whatsapp has put it straight that if you want to use their services you will only be able to do so via their official app.

Why am I banned for using WhatsApp Plus and how do I get unbanned?

WhatsApp Plus is an application that was not developed by WhatsApp, nor is it authorized by WhatsApp. The developers of WhatsApp Plus have no relationship to WhatsApp, and we do not support WhatsApp Plus. Please be aware that WhatsApp Plus contains source code which WhatsApp cannot guarantee as safe and that your private information is potentially being passed to 3rd parties without your knowledge or authorization.

Please uninstall your application and install an authorized version of WhatsApp from our website or Google Play. Then, you will be able to use WhatsApp.
